Do you need a full roof rack or individual roof bars?

If you're looking for the most cost effective solution for your van, our roof bar kits are quick and easy to install and will suit the majority of users. Choose roof bars if you:

Usually only carry ladders or a pipe carrier.
Can live with 2 or 3 bars to mount to.
Only occasionally carry sheet material.

Popular with plumbers, electricians and specialist installers looking to mount pipe carriers or carry ladders on a regular basis. Optional rear rollers will help with loading ladders and protect the back of your van. All our our roof bar kits come with load stops, to help guide you when loading.

For the ultimate in roof loading space, choose our ULTI Rack aluminium roof rack. Boasting a large platform with a greater number of cross bars, roof racks are the best choice if you:

Regularly carry 8x4 Sheet material or timber products.
Carry multiple, heavy ladders.
Want the flexibility of more mounting bars and full length side strut to strap loads to.

Best for builders, roofing contractors and professional trades regularly carrying heavy loads. A Full width rear roller makes loading easier and the modular design and step by step instructions means you can fit it yourself with ease.

Double check the size of your van

The Ford Transit Connect has two choices of length and two styles of rear door. You'll need to check your van before ordering, and we'll ask you for details when you add any rack to your cart.

To help identify your van, check out our brief guide below.

Van Length

Available in short (L1) and long (L2) wheelbase, you'll need to know the length of your Connect when ordering a rack, so we send the right size. If you don't know what you have, check the gap between the side sliding door and the rear wheel arch, the door sits around the middle of the wheel arch on the short wheelbase van.

Rear Door Style

Worth checking if you're adding a rear roller or going for a full rack, as the tailgate style rear door can clash if you don't get this right. We only support vans with twin barn doors. If you have a tailgate, get in touch to see what's available for your van.
